Read moreBaptism is a visible sign that you have asked Jesus to forgive you for your sin and you are now in a relationship with Him. It signifies your inward reality that you have been washed clean because of what Jesus accomplished on the cross. Baptism also identifies you as a follower of Jesus and a member of God’s family.
Our Membership Lunches are a great way to meet other folks who are also new to Parkway, as well as learn more about the things we believe and value. You will also learn how we operate and have a chance to get to know some of our staff. We will even give you the opportunity to become a member if you so choose.
Becoming a Christ-follower is not about you doing anything for God. It's about what God did for you. He sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for you. And He did that over 2,000 years ago because He knew that you were going to need it. He knew you were going to mess up, going to sin, and need to have those sins forgiven by God. When Jesus Christ died on the cross, his death provides the way for you to have that forgiveness (for everything) and allow you to have a relationship with God here on earth and spend forever in heaven when you die. Watch the video below for more information.
If you prayed with Pastor Mike to become a Christ-follower, we encourage you to do 3 things immediately.
Building the right foundation is important in the life of a new Christ-follower. There are lot of questions about God, the Bible, and faith that new Christ-followers may have. The New Believer Class is designed to answer questions about faith and equip a new believer for the next steps in their new life following Jesus Christ.
We have three different classes designed for adults, students and kids during the last service on Sunday. Submit this form to sign you or your student/child up!
With each new school year comes excitement and anticipation - AND there’s no better way to begin than with prayer and worship!
Our Back to School Family Prayer and Worship Night will focus on prayer for God’s favor and protection over our students, teachers, schools, and families. It will also include words of inspiration, scripture, and worship songs led by our student worship team.
Plan for your family to attend on Sunday night, August 18 from 6:30-8:00 PM at the Westpark location gym or the North Katy location worship center.
Over and over again our Small Group Leaders tell us their relationship with Christ grew tremendously while leading a Small Group.

There’s still time! Small Group registration begins on August 25.
Sometimes we are on the brink of God doing something good in our lives. If we can avoid selfish and lack of faith choices, we won’t waste years of our lives just a short distance from the border of something great. Instead, we will see God do something incredible in us and through us.

The idea of being “restored” from a human perspective implies taking something back to its original condition, but God’s idea of restoration is so much bigger.
He doesn’t want to bring us back to a former condition but is working to shape and build us into all He wants us to become.
God is less about fixing and more about doing something completely new, and it’s more beautiful and amazing than we could imagine. Be sure to save the date!
Kids & Students Small Groups start on Wednesday, September 11. If you would like to see your child or student (PreK – 12th Grade) to grow deeper in their relationship with God, be sure to sign them up for a Small Group.
It’s one of the most important things to get on their schedules! Registration opens Sunday, August 25
