July 4 Fireworks Celebrations 2022

There are quite a number of July 4th celebrations happening in our area this weekend. In years past, you may have resorted to find the best places to see fireworks hunting around the web. No need to worry, we created one place for you to see and choose between several firework celebrations around the Houston area this July 4th.


Celebration of Independence Parade and Festival

Parade starts at South Rice Avenue and Valerie Street. The children’s bike parade starts at South Rice Avenue and Evergreen Street. Both parades end at Linden Street.

Freedom Fest

Parade starts at Seawall Blvd at 59th St.
6:00 pm – 9:30 pm

Fourth of July Parade

Seawall Blvd and 57th St.
6:00 pm


Shell Freedom Over Texas Celebration

Best place to see the fireworks is at Sam Houston Park & Eleanor Tinsley Park
4:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Admission is $10. Children under 5 are free.


Katy Freedom Celebration

The City of Katy is partnering with Typhoon Texas’s “Red White & Boom” event for the annual Katy Freedom Celebration. Residents can view the annual fireworks show from within the waterpark or from the parking lot at Katy Mills Mall.

Katy VFW Fourth of July Celebration

The annual VFW Post 9182 & Auxiliary will be held Monday, July 4 starting at 10:00 am. Events include the posting of Colors by combined Katy VFW Post 9182 and American Legion Post 164 Honor Guard.

Live auction preview at 10:00 am, live auction starts at 12:15 pm Silent auction starts at 10:00 am
Opening program at 11:15 am
Lunch begins at 11:45 am

Enjoy hamburgers, hotdogs, potato salad, baked beans, chips, cookies, coffee, tea, soda & water.

Independence Day Festival

HCC Southwest College at 1600 Texas Parkway
Bring a lawn chair and find a spot in the grass to sit back, relax, and enjoy live music followed by an amazing fireworks show!
