It’s so easy during this weekend to be distracted by all of the sales, parties, get togethers, and having the day off. But we must not miss the main focus of Memorial Day.
We want to give you three ways you can honor the memory of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
- If you know someone who has a fallen family member, let them know their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
- Pray for all those who have lost a loved one. Pray that God would comfort them. Pray for those deployed around the world right now, that the Lord would protect them and bring them home safe.
- Find a Memorial Day ceremony to attend. Spend some time honoring them. In fact, we’ve included a list of several free events/ceremonies you can attend below.

Need prayer or want to get involved in prayer at Parkway?
If My people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
