At Parkway Fellowship we believe prayer is the backbone of what we do. We want to be a church that lays every burden and concern we have at the foot of the cross. Prayer is how we as believers of God talk to him. It’s how we make our praises and requests known. 1 John 5:14-15 says, “this is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us-whatever we ask-we know that we have what we asked of him.” Our hope as a church is that we will be believers that come boldly to the throne of God praying for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
We want to share in praying for you in your burdens and we want to be a church who praises our God for his answered prayers in our lives. Please share your prayers with us so we can be praying for you and when God answers your prayers share your prayer stories with us as well.

The hotline, staffed by mental health professionals, also provides treatment referrals. All prayer requests submitted to Parkway Prayer Ministry are reviewed before being posted.

Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like! I experienced a TIA (mini-stroke) on Friday and was admitted to Methodist West for carotid endarterectomy surgery scheduled for Tuesday. Watching the service from the hospital and Praying for my wife and 12 year old son tfor strength.
I trust in the Lord and pray for protection and securtiy from danger. I ask our community to pray for understanding in God's timing. Our beloved coworker TJ Simmons was called home yesterday to the Lord. Please pray for his wife and young son for comfort and leaning onto the Lord for understanding. I pray for our school and those that TJ impacted in small daily interactions that they remember his love, humor, laughter, and small ways he made a big impact on our lives. I ask for prayer in trusting the Lord even in these harder "valley" moments and that someday we will understand better by seeking guidance in the Lord. I pray that TJ's love and legacy lives on in those that can come closer to Christ during this difficult time. Please pray God shows me how to proceed with carrying out the vision for my Consulting business He has put into my heart. Please pray that He brings me the right people and open the right doors, and grow the wisdom that I need to be prosperous in His mighty work. Please pray that I continue to be obedient to His will and patient for His timing. Thank you. Please pray for our daughter. Gina is going for a nuclear mammogram for a suspicious lump this Thursday!
Our oldest daughter Julia, fell on the cruise ship and dislocated or broke her foot this morning!
They are flying in tomorrow night and we will take her to the hospital. She’s in terrible pain.
Thank you so much! Please pray for my mother who has lung cancer. She lives in Louisiana, but comes here to Houston MD Anderson once a month. She is very positive, and hopeful about her treatment.She struggles sometimes with her breathing because she also has COPD and the chemo interferes with her breathing. The doctors are still trying to find the right Chemotherapy treatment. I went to see my rheumatologist yesterday after I left the church cause I have been having excruciating pain in my hand, he sent me to a cardiovascular surgeon. And they admitted me to methodist.. and put me on a heprin drip. I'm waiting for a CT Scan.
And possible heart cath, doctors are telling me that I've lost circulation to my hand and they are concerned about the viability of my entire hand. Pray for the emotional well-being for both of my kids. There is no trauma, just different things they each struggle with that God understands better than I can. Pray that they both learn better coping strategies when they are upset and that my husband and I can help them when they struggle with their moods. I pray for them to both be filled with peace and happiness. My prayer is for guidance. This is my second time in 6 years losing my job. Staring over is never easy and feeling lost. having a new born is hard mentally to keep strong and not to feel like a failure. This is small compared to most prayers request I have seen and I will continue to pray for others during this time. Love you all in Christ. I need some paying work. I have placed ads on Facebook with no response. Please pray that God will Bless me with some work please.
