At Parkway Fellowship we believe prayer is the backbone of what we do. We want to be a church that lays every burden and concern we have at the foot of the cross. Prayer is how we as believers of God talk to him. It’s how we make our praises and requests known. 1 John 5:14-15 says, “this is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us-whatever we ask-we know that we have what we asked of him.” Our hope as a church is that we will be believers that come boldly to the throne of God praying for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
We want to share in praying for you in your burdens and we want to be a church who praises our God for his answered prayers in our lives. Please share your prayers with us so we can be praying for you and when God answers your prayers share your prayer stories with us as well.

Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like! Please pray for James Henry. He is an infant and has been diagnosed with cancer. He and his parents are at St Jude. He will have surgery in the next couple of days to determine the course of treatment. Please pray for my husband and our family. My husband was diagnosed with Covid 19 this morning he is at hospital and already has current health issues with his liver disease. Please pray for my brother, Mark Euper. He has been hospitalized with Covid pneumonia. He’s working out of state and is alone throughout his medical ordeal. His immune system is compromised due to battling leukemia and undergoing chemotherapy. May God heal and protect him. Please Lord heal the right hand and wrist of our daughter Carolina, 14 years old, that she come back soon to play volleyball. We received the results of Carolina’s MRI. She has a complete tear of the scapholunate ligament on her right wrist. Her doctor has recommended that she see a hand specialist at Texas Children’s Hospital, today Tuesday August 31st she has an appointment at 4:00 pm with the specialist. he will tell us the path forward. Please pray for the best treatment and quick recovery.
I have four family members who got Covid because they were helping a family friend who is a priest. They were taking care of him as he didn’t have anyone. My Mom is in ICU right now fighting for her life. Father Joseph is still in the hospital for Covid although he’s stable. My sister and brother in law are still not feeling well. THANK YOU Please pray for our family. We lost our dad this week. He was 95 years old and lived a wonderful life, but it happened unexpectedly in the middle of the day, and we are in shock. Please pray for my neighbor and friend Sue and her husband Foster. She is having difficulty responding to treatments associated with her leukemia.
Please pray for our friend Christy who has breast cancer. Please pray for the Afghans. They need our prayers, especially the women who are very vulnerable. Some Afghans supported international forces in keeping peace in afghan, and now the Taliban will make them pay for it. I pray that God would provide a way for us to go visit Karen's mom in Ohio soon. She is elderly and lives by herself and she is unable to take the vaccine shots because of health reasons. I have lost both of my parents and I want Karen to be able to see her mom again after about 5 years and spend a few days with her. Also I need to find some small jobs to supplement our income.
