At Parkway Fellowship we believe prayer is the backbone of what we do. We want to be a church that lays every burden and concern we have at the foot of the cross. Prayer is how we as believers of God talk to him. It’s how we make our praises and requests known. 1 John 5:14-15 says, “this is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us-whatever we ask-we know that we have what we asked of him.” Our hope as a church is that we will be believers that come boldly to the throne of God praying for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
We want to share in praying for you in your burdens and we want to be a church who praises our God for his answered prayers in our lives. Please share your prayers with us so we can be praying for you and when God answers your prayers share your prayer stories with us as well.

Today though, today I don’t feel ok. I don’t feel strong. I feel so lonely. This month we would have been together 11 years. I miss my partner. I miss sleeping next to him. Having someone to talk to. I’m requesting prayer for all the boys, one in particular, who did not make the High School golf team. Alex is a really sweet kid and is friends with our son but he did not make the team. He is such a great kid and has a little brother with Special Needs who is in a wheelchair so I’m sure there is some stress in his life. Plus my son found out one of his family members took their life- we don’t know when. So, he’s been through a lot and we were really hoping he would have made the team. We know God has a plan for him but he may not know that. Please pray for Alex and his family for strength and peace, provision and just for this kiddo to be ok. I am asking for prayers for God to provide a way for us to visit my mother in law. She lives in Ohio and my wife Karen hasn't seen her mom in several years. Her mom is around 85 not really sure. I lost my mom several years ago and I would love for my wife to see her mom before she passes. She is in good health now but because of her age that could change quickly. I am asking God to help me come up with the money to do this. I need to find work so I can get this done. Thank you for your prayers. God Bless you all. please pray for my husband and I to have our first baby. I have only one fallopian tube open and this makes it very very hard to become pregnant. 17 month old Parker is struggling. His mimi just sent me an update, Parker has ran a high fever non stop, despite around the clock Tylenol/Ibuprofen regimen. They ruled out Kawasaki disease, then his labs went haywire again, so they revisited Kawasaki. Kinda thinking no. Now he’s losing weight and has an oncology consult tomorrow. So at this point we still are no where.
The inflammation around his his heart has mostly resolved and now he has inflammation in his bronchial tree. It’s so sporadic and no rhyme or reason. The doctors say Parker has them stumped.
Folks this young baby may not have much life left we have to pray for a miracle, right now he is a medical mystery, and doctors are giving up and just keeping him comfortable. His grandmother cannot see him because of strict visitation rules. And it's crushing her. Quite honestly it's crushing me. Pls pray for a miracle with me. This boy deserves a full life. Thank you all. Please pray for our friend, Angie. She passed away Monday night after a horrible car wreck in Waller last week. She leaves behind a husband & 3 children. Please pray for peace, strength and comfort for her family, and for all of her friends & loved ones. Once every 2-3 years I get this. I have been very confused and an emotional wreck for almost a month. I have prayed sooo much. I'm just frustrated. I am working with my doctor to get this corrected.
