At Parkway Fellowship we believe prayer is the backbone of what we do. We want to be a church that lays every burden and concern we have at the foot of the cross. Prayer is how we as believers of God talk to him. It’s how we make our praises and requests known. 1 John 5:14-15 says, “this is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us-whatever we ask-we know that we have what we asked of him.” Our hope as a church is that we will be believers that come boldly to the throne of God praying for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
We want to share in praying for you in your burdens and we want to be a church who praises our God for his answered prayers in our lives. Please share your prayers with us so we can be praying for you and when God answers your prayers share your prayer stories with us as well.
“Any concern too small to be turned into a prayer is too small to be made into a burden.” – Corrie Ten Boom

“Prayer lays hold of God’s plan and becomes the link between his will and its accomplishment on earth. Amazing things happen, and we are given the privilege of being the channels of the Holy Spirit’s prayer.” Elisabeth Elliot
“God sharpens the world by prayer. The more praying there is in the world the better the world will be, the mightier the forces against evil.” E.M. Bounds
Prayer Wall Policy: Thank you for entrusting us with your prayer requests. We are honored to pray with and for you. Please keep in mind that Parkway Prayer Ministry is not a counseling ministry and cannot offer any services to you other than our fervent prayers. If you feel that you do need counseling, The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline’s 24 hour toll-free crisis hotline, 1.800.273.TALK (1.800.273.8255) can put you into contact with your local crisis center that can tell you where to seek immediate help in your area. Those who are uncomfortable with speaking on the phone can text “MHA” to 741-741 to speak with a trained crisis counselor at Crisis Text Line. The Child-Help USA 1.800.4.A.CHILD (1.800.422.4453) crisis line assists both child and adult survivors of abuse, including sexual abuse. The hotline, staffed by mental health professionals, also provides treatment referrals. All prayer requests submitted to Parkway Prayer Ministry are reviewed before being posted.

Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like! Please pray for our family. We lost our dad this week. He was 95 years old and lived a wonderful life, but it happened unexpectedly in the middle of the day, and we are in shock. Please pray for my neighbor and friend Sue and her husband Foster. She is having difficulty responding to treatments associated with her leukemia.
Please pray for our friend Christy who has breast cancer. Please pray for the Afghans. They need our prayers, especially the women who are very vulnerable. Some Afghans supported international forces in keeping peace in afghan, and now the Taliban will make them pay for it. I pray that God would provide a way for us to go visit Karen's mom in Ohio soon. She is elderly and lives by herself and she is unable to take the vaccine shots because of health reasons. I have lost both of my parents and I want Karen to be able to see her mom again after about 5 years and spend a few days with her. Also I need to find some small jobs to supplement our income. Also we would love to witness to our children and friends. I pray God would provide the opportunity for that. Thank you and God Bless you. Please pray for Frances Watt as she battles with Covid 19. Thank you! Please pray for a friend of my sister. His name is Wayne Davis, 37 yrs old, husband, father of 3 & a Houston Fire Department firefighter. He is battling COVID, ZERO preexisting conditions. He has been in the hospital for 10 days now with double pneumonia and blood clots. Pray for the people in Afghanistan who are left to defend themselves against the Taliban. Pray for our leaders to realize their mistakes and immediately send troops back to protect these people and their country that have partnered with us the last 20 years to rid the world of evil.
Pray for the US to elect a new regime of moral leaders next time around
Amen! Please pray for my overseas younger sister Susana and her husband Fredy who lost their jobs while back, due to age discrimination, it’s been difficult for them to find any to the point of desperation. For him to find the strength, wisdom and confidence to overcome his challenges.
