At Parkway Fellowship we believe prayer is the backbone of what we do. We want to be a church that lays every burden and concern we have at the foot of the cross. Prayer is how we as believers of God talk to him. It’s how we make our praises and requests known. 1 John 5:14-15 says, “this is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us-whatever we ask-we know that we have what we asked of him.” Our hope as a church is that we will be believers that come boldly to the throne of God praying for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
We want to share in praying for you in your burdens and we want to be a church who praises our God for his answered prayers in our lives. Please share your prayers with us so we can be praying for you and when God answers your prayers share your prayer stories with us as well.
“Any concern too small to be turned into a prayer is too small to be made into a burden.” – Corrie Ten Boom

“Prayer lays hold of God’s plan and becomes the link between his will and its accomplishment on earth. Amazing things happen, and we are given the privilege of being the channels of the Holy Spirit’s prayer.” Elisabeth Elliot
“God sharpens the world by prayer. The more praying there is in the world the better the world will be, the mightier the forces against evil.” E.M. Bounds

Please pray for us to continue to have the strength to continue our long distance relationship. Hi, I had a baby girl 8 months ago and after having my daughter I realized that I wanted to be a surrogate for a family who cannot have children. I haven’t started the process yet but I plan on starting the process in the next few months. I am excited for this journey to bless a family. But at the same time a lot of emotions that go into this process. Would be my first time doing this. I felt I need to do this and I also want to. My husband and I struggled for 5 years trying to get pregnant. If you all could keep me in your prayers as I go through everything in the next few months. Please pray for my boyfriends dad to wake up from his coma and be ok and fully recovered. Hi, my husband is currently not happy with his current job and has been in the search for a new job. He had an interview Friday and really hopes he gets this position and he would also be traveling. He could use some prayers! Thank you! I’m asking for prayer please: here is my situation
I relocated to Houston in Dec 2022. I been unsuccessful at finding work to allow me to stay so after months of struggle I decided to apply for work back in home . I was successful at getting a job back home and accepted it as nothing was opening up for me here. The job at home is slated to start Monday June 26th however I’m still in Houston. I’ve had some delays with the job back home and I interviewed for a position here in Houston yesterday; it sounds like a good job and I’m interested.
Every time I make a flight to go to home something happens. ( cancellation or delays ) and now the job back home has a delay in clearing me to start on Monday, June 26th. If I don’t get to start on June 26 I’m gonna have to wait until July 10th at this point.
I’m ready to wait and see what may happen here in Houston
I’m excited thankful and grateful that things are progressing forward, but I ask God to let his will be done in my life and if I’m trying to force something that isn’t for me I want to be obedient and do what he wants me to do.
When I look at everything that’s going on and the different things that keep coming up it makes me wonder if I should go to home or not
So if you would stand in prayer with me I would really appreciate it. I just want to do what GOD wants me to do and stop trying to make my own way. I’m asking for wisdom clear direction Than you so much. 84 yr. old Joann lost her 60 yr. old daughter Lorie Magyar from diabetes two days ago. No children or family. She is by herself, hurting and feels lost with lots of tears. Please pray for her strength and purpose to get through this. She lives west of Katy and the airport....Thank youAbdullah Watkins
