At Parkway Fellowship we believe prayer is the backbone of what we do. We want to be a church that lays every burden and concern we have at the foot of the cross. Prayer is how we as believers of God talk to him. It’s how we make our praises and requests known. 1 John 5:14-15 says, “this is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us-whatever we ask-we know that we have what we asked of him.” Our hope as a church is that we will be believers that come boldly to the throne of God praying for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
We want to share in praying for you in your burdens and we want to be a church who praises our God for his answered prayers in our lives. Please share your prayers with us so we can be praying for you and when God answers your prayers share your prayer stories with us as well.
“Any concern too small to be turned into a prayer is too small to be made into a burden.” – Corrie Ten Boom

“Prayer lays hold of God’s plan and becomes the link between his will and its accomplishment on earth. Amazing things happen, and we are given the privilege of being the channels of the Holy Spirit’s prayer.” Elisabeth Elliot
“God sharpens the world by prayer. The more praying there is in the world the better the world will be, the mightier the forces against evil.” E.M. Bounds

Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like! Pray for relief and healing for my coworker’s young son Stedson. He’s been ill for a few days with high fever. Please prayer for answers and the gift of medical knowledge of the doctors and trusting the Lord to lift the Koopman family up as they comfort their son. Please pray for me and to be able to find a new job. Yesterday I was giving notice that my job was impacted by recent cost cutting initiatives, so I have a limited time to find another job inside or else I will need to leave the company. My job is the main income source of my family. I know and trust that God is our provider, but the fear, stress and anxiety is real in these hard times we live. Pray for God to provide for our family as he has promised, and to find a comparable source of income before I am laid off. And also pray for peace, and for my mind and body to understand that this is temporary, that there is no need to have fear or panic attacks, and trust thay God will open better opportunities ahead. Asking for prayers for my son , Nate, who is struggling with addiction from drugs and alcohol. He is also going through hard times . Praying that he finds his way out of this so that he can be that great man our Lord and those who love him know he is . I need some prayer warriors to pray for Caden Zachary Weaver and his parents Nicki and Clint Weaver and his grandmother Deeanna Wiebe.. ️ please pray for Salvation and an outpouring of love and healing for this family ! Caden especially needs deliverance and all need healing of body mind and soul .. miraculous blessings!️ My sweet gentle giant husband needs the power of prayer to lift him up to Father God. Joe has a malignant tumor pressing on the nerves at T12. He’s in excruciating pain. Surgery will be this afternoon. We’re strong in our faith but this has been challenging & we want to keep leaning on God & not allow our fears to take over.
Thank you for all who pray I pray that God opens doors for my consulting business and send clients and businesses that want to partner with me to provide consulting services. I thank God for what He has done and what doors He is about to open that no man can shut! I’ve had suspicions - but two days ago my adult son (he’s 24) told me that he has been using THC for the past three years nearly every day. The alcohol started his senior year of high school.
The real changes started two years ago and became worse over the last six months. I don’t recognize him as my son and I’m angry at what he has done to himself and I don’t know how to navigate what to do. Please say a prayer for my youngest son. He is struggling with change. He has such a big heart and cares deeply for his friends and loved ones. I pray that he doesn’t feel alone and that everything that happens is for a reason and everything will work out. Please pray for my brother-in-law Wendell. He is having a procedure done this morning at 11 and it is something that could have major complications. He's diabetic and in a wheelchair and has a bone infection. This procedure basically removes blood, filters it to remove infection and returns it along with additional blood. thank you for your prayers. I love my church family.Sandy
