At Parkway Fellowship we believe prayer is the backbone of what we do. We want to be a church that lays every burden and concern we have at the foot of the cross. Prayer is how we as believers of God talk to him. It’s how we make our praises and requests known. 1 John 5:14-15 says, “this is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us-whatever we ask-we know that we have what we asked of him.” Our hope as a church is that we will be believers that come boldly to the throne of God praying for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
We want to share in praying for you in your burdens and we want to be a church who praises our God for his answered prayers in our lives. Please share your prayers with us so we can be praying for you and when God answers your prayers share your prayer stories with us as well.

I just want to thank you for the amazing sermon series. I watched online today. And then went back and watched the first sermon of the series.
I just sat on my knees and surrendered my personal life to God. I have been struggling for a long time. To accept and love myself. Always trying to fill in the void with other things. I watched church today online And it just hit home. I feel like whenever God talks to me I run. I listen to the devil and do exactly the opposite of what I should do.I don’t think I have ever loved myself of felt worthy of anything or anyone. Goes back to childhood trauma. But today I felt God speaking to me and I was actually on my knees. I am 55 and single. My husband left me in 2016 after 23 years of marriage for another women. But we were not on good terms. Since then life has been harder for me. Feelings of unworthiness, being loved, fitting in, being skinny or pretty. Dating after 55 is not fun. But I was looking in the wrong places.
God never gives up.
